As always, we started very early in the morning to make the most of the day, as it is not every day that one goes to a place as idyllic as the surroundings of Sintra.

We arrived in Sintra early in the morning, without having counted on the fact that in the lush forest of Sintra's roads, the morning sun does not give enough light. So we decided to go first to the Palace of Monserrate and then return to this site when the sun was a little higher. On the way to the palace following the recommendations of google maps, with such bad luck that we entered a dirt road in very bad condition for a car as low as the one we had ... at first it did not seem so bad, but it was getting complicated, and we had to take a 30 mins turn (with streets in the opposite direction included ?) to reach the Palace.

Finally we arrived at the palace, when at the entrance the receptionist told us: "give me the documentation to make the report, and the purchase of tickets to enter", we gave him everything, when he told us that the ticket we had was not the one we should and that he had to call his supervisor but we told him that we had called to ask if that was enough and they said yes. He called and they didn't take it so he told us to go in without any problems.
