Until a few years ago we weren’t really aware of the wonders our own country has to offer, because we’re always seeing the wonders of other countries in movies and in other wedding photographers’ work, but when you’re in places as spectacular as the ones we were in for this post-wedding shoot, you end up falling in love.
This was our first post-wedding shoot in Tenerife, and it was also the first time we’d ever been there — we were practically tourists, but with a lot of planning beforehand we already knew the best spots to shoot the whole session. In fact, we knew so many beautiful spots: beach, mountain, forest, desert… that we couldn’t resist doing 3 afternoon sessions, so we could enjoy the sunset more than once.
For the more impatient among you who want a quick summary, here’s a really fun reel we made with our experience on this trip. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what our post-wedding shoots look like!
Day one: Teide National Park
But anyway, let’s get to it! We’re here to see photos, and to scope out (for whenever it’s your turn to go) spectacular spots on our islands, so let’s start with the crown jewel: post-wedding photos in Teide National Park.

Day two: Santa Cruz de Tenerife and a Teide viewpoint
After wrapping up day one with that incredible sunset at Teide, the next day we headed to the beautiful city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. With very colorful buildings downtown, reminiscent of the colonial houses of Latin America, it inspired us a lot and we grabbed a few shots around there.

And to wrap up that day, we headed up to a viewpoint on the Carretera de la Esperanza, with views of Teide and the whole city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. We arrived a bit short on time and only got a few shots, but it was totally worth it.

Day three: Anaga Rural Park
And finally, to close out this incredible session, we wanted to take photos in Anaga Rural Park, both in its lush forest area and on one of its beautiful black sand beaches: Benijo beach.

Having said all that, we also want to leave you with a reel we made with some drone shots of Benijo beach.
We hope you liked the photos, and if you’d like to have an experience like this, just get in touch and we’ll organize a trip wherever you want! We love traveling, discovering new places, meeting new people… 😊🍃
