Hi everyone! We’re so excited, because what has been a dream of ours for many years is finally coming true: opening our own wedding photography business.
First, for those of you who don’t know us yet, let us introduce ourselves: we’re Nacho and Marta, though some of our friends know us as “los niggis”. We’ve been together since 2013, when we were still 15, and ever since we’ve been growing and learning together in this world of photography, which for years now has been at the centre of our lives.
We’ve lived together since January 2020, when we moved to Seville, and we were lucky enough (notice the irony) that Covid hit us two months later 😖. Even so, we had the time we needed to start thinking through our project, Hojas de Vida, and we got to work on everything it took to make it happen — which was no small thing.
Truth is, we’re quite young to be starting a business, especially considering we’ve already spent a few years gaining experience working alongside other great fellow photographers. We’re only 23 and 24 right now, but we have enough maturity from having been together for 8 years already, which helps us understand couples who are about to get married really well.
Our clients aren’t just clients — we really love building a little friendship with each couple, and getting along beyond just offering a photography service; for us it’s something more than that. That’s why we wanted to tell you a bit more about what catches our attention and what we get up to in our free time (what little we have).
