Themed weddings are a great idea for people who are looking to have the time of their lives at their wedding, and for us at destination wedding photographers is a real luxury. It's a fun way to spend a day all dressed with the same aesthetic whether it's an Ibiza wedding, vintage, hippy, boho chic, or in this case a Roman wedding in Merida.

The wedding took place in the wonderful Extremaduran city of Merida, the ancient Emerita Augusta. From the armor worn by the groom followed by his legion of friends, to the handmade clay gifts they gave to their guests, no detail was missing in this themed wedding (even the groom's underpants were Roman hahaha).

The ceremony was beautiful and quite emotional, in a place as appropriate as it is the great jewel that we have the emeritenses, the Roman theater of Merida that certainly all dressed with the Roman theme, made us transport us to our roots.
